Mass. Route 27
A short stretch of Mass. Route 27 in Acton and Maynard has a rather
high concentration of "unusual" signs and such. Enough to warrant its
own page.
"Middlesex County" Route 27
A "Middlesex County" Route 27 sign. Only problem is, this is State Route
27, and there is no such thing as county routes in Massachusetts.
Since county routes don't exist in Massachusetts, I have no idea how
this mistake could have been made.
Also the colors are nonstandard for county route signs, this one is yellow
on green, the "standard" signs that other states use are normally yellow on
blue.
Unusual white-on-black route signs. I haven't seen these anywhere else.
Underground parking anyone?
Do I have to stop or just yield?
