This never-used bridge, built in the late 1950s, was intended to carry the southbound lanes of I-95 over US 1 in Revere, MA. The portion of would-be I-95 that was actually built (behind me here) became a freeway US 1.

What? (Fitchburg, MA)

Leominster Mass. sometimes uses a handy sign blank for other than its intended purpose.
