| Route 88 once ran straight through the gap in the trees to end at NH 51 (now NH 101, visible in the background). It was an at-grade intersection on what was otherwise a Super Two freeway. This intersection was eliminated when NH 101 was upgraded to a four lane divided freeway, and the short piece of road to the left was built then. |
